Remote,
     Minds,
 are forever hindered,
            by the delay,
                  of a response.

Thumb Twiddling

    Nonsense,
      should not be met,
    with reasoning,
           or facts.

   When its sole purpose,
               is to waste your time.

Marijuana Prohibition

Why is it illegal,
       to make,
           what makes,
    you happy.

For...

As long as you are responsible.
     and don't hurt,
              your fellow man,
    there should be no qualm.
           on a perfectly taxable product.

For marijuana only brings,
          temporary joy,
              to a temporary existence.

The alternative,
           is to deny,
              curious individuals,
,
 Who seek out,
                alternative solutions,
          to imperfect outcomes.

    Similar to the 1920s,
          Where society experimented,

                spawning,

                      and later repealing,
               the 18th amendment.

            Whose users,
                         only wanted,
                                 to loosen,
                      their edge,
                    
             And relax.


  

Pendulum

A pendulum swings,
         freely both ways,

      Tying to balance,
         two opposing,
           points of view,

   Consistently,
               Flipping,
           and flopping.
                at a predictable rate.

    Eventually finding,
                      The middle ground,
   
    In the world,
             of the undecided,
                           
  Its more like a game of tether ball,
            With each side,
                          taking turns,
                       pushing the center of balance,
             

                      Further....

   to the left

                        or
 
                                  to the right

    Stifling;
  their competition,
       Until the pendulum,
                   Breaks.
     

Political Analysis 2016

Self preservation,
          Is a character trait,
    That is not valued,
             In today's technical,
                        Modern Society.

   But I argue
           its the first requirement,
                 needed to lead people.

        For,
            Self preservation is our most basic,
         animal instinct,
              that allowed us to evolve,
                      with time,

             And...

       Deviation,
                 from its path,
             results in an organisms,
                     understanding of pain and fear.

      Any organism,
                  that does not understand,
                                           how to react,
                                to these situations,

                  And is still alive...

              Had an advantage so large,
                                       in its evolution,
                      that is disconnected from reality,

                          While we can all see,
 
                          These self inflicted,
                     repeated injuries,
                                will eventually be,
                             the demise of such an organism.

                    We as a people,
                           we need to tap less,
                     into our adrenaline,
                             and more into our senses.
