First i would like to say Kennedy Drive is getting back in the studio... October 21st we plan to record the first part of out new CD. Additional times will be needed to complete this CD, but the oldest songs will be recorded first so we can concentrate on newer songs... kennedydrive.com will be coming up around that time too. I'm thinking that I'll post little giblets from our jam sessions to make the site interesting (i have about 3.42 gigs of us just jamming).
More recently I've received a new server that I'm using as a UNIX box.. Currently I'm running FreeBSD on it and sometimes wonder who the hell figured this OS out.. I successfully installed UNIX, connected it to the internet, downloaded packages such as pico, but i still need to figure out how to make aliases (which i think i messed up when editing my .cshrc file and have to re-install UNIX for a second time.. (in other terms I'm just creating shortcut commands))..
As for my job at rite aid, I'm starting to know what I am doing for most situations. I'm also slowly seeing myself move up the ranks of the company only being at my job for 5 months, viewing older techs slowly moving on to different jobs and taking their job responsibilities.. But I'm seeing a lot of older tech just move on...
Therefor I've also decided that its best t look for new opportunities that may arise... This Saturday I applied for a position at SU as a DBA/Systems Administrator... If nothing else i'll get a simply no and continue working at Rite Aid...
