Self preservation,
Is a character trait,
That is not valued,
In today's technical,
Modern Society.
But I argue
its the first requirement,
needed to lead people.
For,
Self preservation is our most basic,
animal instinct,
that allowed us to evolve,
with time,
And...
Deviation,
from its path,
results in an organisms,
understanding of pain and fear.
Any organism,
that does not understand,
how to react,
to these situations,
And is still alive...
Had an advantage so large,
in its evolution,
that is disconnected from reality,
While we can all see,
These self inflicted,
repeated injuries,
will eventually be,
the demise of such an organism.
We as a people,
we need to tap less,
into our adrenaline,
and more into our senses.
