They sat and spoke without a sound,

not having to say,

hello or goodbye.

Their thoughts and actions stand alone,
open to each other,

brutally honest,

Even though friends drift apart,
They retained the bonds,
Closest to their heart,

Years may test,

This long distance friendship,

But one thing remains certain,

Memories,
Have a way,
