Summertime

A window,
Is nothing,
without a fan,
in summers swelter,

I'd argue that a fan in the window distracts you from looking outside and enjoying the world from the comfort of your home. Besides, everyone who has ever had one knows that ceiling fans are much better. But perhaps you have a point, a fan in the window can help you enjoy your house a little bit more in the summer time. If you spend all your time trying to look out the window, maybe you should stand up, open the door, walk outside and actually enjoy nature. Maybe this has an even deeper meaning. Maybe we need to realize that we distract ourselves with materials things and excuses for why things are the way they are when in reality we have the power to stop looking out of the fan-filled window and open that door.

I guess I should of explained that i basically live in an attic and coming home at 9:00 pm at night your going to roast until your window fan or ac can kick in.

I also do have another window next to it which I like to look out, but you can't enjoy it until the room cools down. So i just turn on my fan/or ac depending on temp, go downstairs and wait a half hour for the room to cool..

For this post however I didn't feel like moving, So i just suffered..
