Drinking the Kool Aid

Blind acceptance,
            to an unknown truth,
        Sets the stage,
                          for failure,


       This potent mixture,
               darkens the mind,

                            And

                 Is made drinkable,
                       With a dash of,
                   Sweet Expectations,

             The familiarity,
                        Becomes,
                               Ones downfall,
   
          As inaction,
                    becomes the action.



               The Lateness,
                                To identify,
                   A course correction,

                         Flashes,

                 As the poision,
                                   passes,

                    Through the lips,

                            Through the gums,
                             
                        Look out,
                                Stomach,

                      Here it comes.......
