Webber q 120 Hot Zones and Chicken Wings

In the absence of writing, I have decided to start grilling, trying new recipes and expanding my horizons.  The Weber q 120 is nice little compact grill that i recently got for this summer grilling session and for football tailgating this year..  It took me a couple batches of chicken wings to figure out the best hot and cold zones on the grill above.  I must say the far left is by far the hottest portion of the grill followed closely by the far right...

But after making the following recipe 4 separate times on the grill I'm finally here to share my recipe:

Ingredients:
24 chicken wings
Jar Mango Habanero BBQ sauce (Williams and Sonoma)
Bourbon
Honey
Garlic Salt
Dill Weed
Pepper

Grilling Guidance:
Heat grill for about 5 minutes on high, scrape grill off and turn heat down to low.  Dump wings on grill and assort them to the best of your ability. Flip wings once and start coating with basting brush (mango habanero sauce) about 8 flips at 3 min each side... When grilling this many wings if you notice toward flip 4 or 5 the wings getting slightly more crisp then you would likes its ok to turn off the heat as you rearrange the wings, and turn the heat up a quarter when you turn it back on. (Just keep rotating between the hot and cold zones for an even cook..)

Toward the end pour a small glass of bourbon to the side, use basting brush and coat one side and then the other 1 round basically as quick as you can..  You may have to blow out the bourbon as you'll notice your wings maybe on fire with the alcohol..

Next pour liberal amounts of honey on your wings, and add garlic salt, dill weed, and pepper for your seasonings..  Use the basting brush to make sure the seasoning and honey is evenly on the outside, and do the same for the other side.. flip one last time and enjoy..
