The ceiling tile,
is still ajar,

Shin so bright,

Drowned,
The color gone,

Echos in,
A Blanket,

Footsteps above,
They worry me,

Abruptly stop,
Change direction,

What’s their hurry,
Their destination?

Bite,
Tastes of metal,
Screws together,
Broken pieces,

They lie and wait,
